VM-001 / ISSUE 07 EST. IN BAD JUDGMENT

Bad ideas. Good machines.

Unreasonable automobiles from the hills of Kentucky.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT DIVISION / PAGE 02

We don't build sensible cars.

We take the forgotten, the overlooked, and the occasionally questionable, then turn them into something worth looking at.

Not everything needs a thousand horsepower. Not everything needs perfect paint. Sometimes all a machine needs is the right stance, the right details, and someone unreasonable enough to see what it could become.

THE MACHINES / PROJECT NO. 001

Meet the trouble.

Everything above is ink. This part is real.

Night Shift head-on, low from the gravel: black 1976 Chevrolet C10 with yellow headlamps

01 / NIGHT SHIFT

Black paint. Yellow eyes.

And a stance that sits a little too low to be polite.

Good taste is overrated.

01

Character first.

A machine doesn't need to be expensive to be interesting.

02 Drive the

damn thing.

Builds are meant to be driven, not permanently displayed under fluorescent lights.

Nothing
is off
limits.

An old Camaro, a forgotten luxury coupe, a battered pickup, or something nobody else would think to modify. The platform doesn't matter as much as the idea.

SHOP MANUAL / REVISED WHENEVER

Questionable decisions. Considerable effort.

How a Varmint gets made. Pick a figure.

FIG. 1

Find the forgotten one.

Back lots, old classifieds, the far end of somebody's field. We go looking for the machine everybody else drove past.

  • PART NO. 021

    The VM-001 Print

The possum, full size, on heavy paper. Proudly unreasonable.

FIG. A / THE SHOP
KENTUCKY

Small shop. Strange ideas.

Some of the best automobiles were never supposed to be collectible. Some of the most interesting machines were never meant to be modified.

We think those are the ones worth paying attention to.

Varmint Motor Co. exists to give strange ideas a place to become real machines.

The story so far: Project 001

Got a bad idea?

We'd like to hear it.

What kind of idea?
